Summary: The greatest sports documentary of all time
Comment: Ali, Norton, Frazier, Holmes and Forman .... 5 excellent fighters that exchanged the heavyweight world champions between themselves for over 2 decades that many people consider the golden-age of heavyweight boxing.
This, in my view, is the greatest sports documentary of all time. The production is excellent and the documentary is entertaining, funny, moving and inspirational. A must for any fight fan with a slight passion for the sports history.
If your a fan of boxing or just a fan of Ali himself ... you must buy this DVD.

Summary: Nice buy, but lacks depth and full length fights
Comment: This is a nice compilation of boxing greatest fights throughout the most productive boxing years - the 1970's.It features nice footage of perhaps the greatest boxing fight ever between Frazier and Ali in 1971, and their rematch in 1975, also known as the "Manilla Thrilla". Also features a couple of Foreman's fights, the best of them being against Frazier.
Even though I'm not an Ali fan and I do not consider him the best, Joe Louis is (12 years in a row undisputed HW champion), the fights featured are great, unfortunately the video and audio qualities are pretty poor, since this is a DVD I expected a remastering of the fights to provide a much more quality DVD.
The DVD also lacks depth in the sense that it only provides certain "high profile" scenes from the fights and not the full length fights. Some people wouldn't mind, but I'm a boxing fan who likes to watch entire fights.
But, considering the price is only 10 bucks, this is a worth buy for boxing fans who want to see highlights of some of the greatest fights ever.

Summary: Champions Forever - A great buy
Comment: Champions Forever is a must both for boxing aficionados and novices alike. It is a whirlwind acccount of the friendship and rivalry of five of the greatest heavyweights of all time - Ali, Frazier, Foreman, Norton and Holmes, with magnificent footage of all fighters in action, each with their own very distinct style of fighting.
Baseball legend Reggie Jackson does a beautiful job of interviewing the boxers and drawing out their very personal stories about the highs and lows of their careers and what it means to win and lose the Heavyweight Championship of the World.
This film will make you realise how glorious and entertaining heavyweight boxing was in the 1960s and 70s and how sad and dull it has become today, despite the hideous sums of money involved.
Buy this film today. You will not be disappointed!

Summary: Superb Action, a must for all Ali fans.
Comment: I thought this wasnt so good at first watch. The sound quality is a bit poor. But after many re-watches the acton is good, and the cheeky banter between Frazier, Ali and Holmes during the 'Dinner with the Champions' is absolute classic. Must be seen by all fans.

Summary: A must for everyone, it is your duty to buy it.
Comment: Well if you like boxing then you will love this DVD. It charts the greatest era in heavyweight boxing of all time, the 70s. Ali, Frazier, Holmes, Foreman and Norton all feature, fight clips and interviews as you would expect. The one thing that makes this video so good is the subject matter, it charts their incredible lives- and was never really going to be a poor doc.
